You know, I just thought about this....but in every online comic there's at least these three characters:

The Smart, Steady, Rational Main Character
Despite all the abnormal life he leads with WDOMC, he somehow leads a normal life and injects the voice of reason, often sarcasm as well, into the comic.

The Wacky, Deranged, Obsessed Main Character
Put there simply for comedic value, nothing is too insane for this person. Often is best friends with the SSRMC.

The Slightly Removed Observer Friend
This character which is often in the main cast but not a "main character" is slightly aloof and regards the shenanigans of the main characters as somewhat perplexing and silly, but is generally at least a good aquaintance of the WDOMC and SSRMC.


Probably more too.
CAD, OOTS, MT, PA all fit into this

Okay, CAD and OOTS I get, what are the other ones?
EGS works for that as well. Maybe DD? But there's so many characters that it's hard to classify each one as a seperate thing.

These abbreviations amuse me so. And apparently I don't read enough webcomics. I should add this to my to-do list. Instead of doing something productive like studying for midterms.
