A fun fantasy book about conspiracies, war, doom, destruction, the impending end of the world, that sort of fun stuff. Contains a very morally ambiguous protagonist who must find his purpose in life, except it's not cliche like I just made it sound. Very ominous, suspenseful, and relatively unpredictable.
Anyone else read this?

I win for telling you to read this, right? And Breath and Bone, the sequel, is just as good, if not better.

Yes, you win. ^_^ I really need to start on Breath and Bone... I have way too many options for what to read.

Death, doom, and the impending end of the world? Sounds like my kind of book. ^_^ Who's the author?

I have too many options as well. So I'm reading the Dark Tower books on a whim. xD
And Carol Berg is a good storyteller. Whose other books (not count the Rai-Kirah ones) are on the list of things I should read someday. xD
