Any other fans of hers in here? I was rereading "The Dark Lord of Derkholm" and it struck me what a masterful parody it is. She pokes fun at most of the epic fantasy stereotypes... wise old wizards, beautiful enchantresses, the outnumbered-but-valiant Forces of Good... etc. 'Howl's Moving Castle' has a bit of parody in it as well, but since not all of her books do, I thought I'd post this here.
I love all of her books that I've read (which, sadly, isn't all of them yet) and I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite... it might be the Chrestomanci series, though. X3

I've read a lot of her books. My favorites are the Derkholm ones, I think, but I like the Chrestomanci ones a lot. The thing is, I always have trouble remembering which books are hers. There's such a variety of them. Oh Hexwood, I liked that.

I have read some of her books, but found a few a tad bit confusing... perhaps I managed to skip a few pages here and there... but I have listened to some on tape and they were quite interesting ^^ I have yet to read Howl's Moving Castle but have seen the film ^^
