Well, if you haven't (which is probably most people here), I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. They're funny, but only because they take themselves seriously when they shouldn't. Hey, that sounds kind of familiar.
The best way I can describe them is bad epic fantasy set to music written by someone who does not speak very good English and sung by someone has a severe speech impediment. Wait, forget that last part, people with speech impediments might be offended by being compared to Rhapsody's lead singer.
The videoes kind of speak for themselves. Just run a search on Youtube for Rhapsody of Fire. I highly recommend Unholy Warcry. I think it's basically a cliche fantasy novel set to song, but I can't tell because everything Luca says sounds like rawr rawr urrr RAWR RAWR to me. Oh, and Christopher Lee narrates. I can understand what he says. Sadly.
In the end, Rhapsody of Fire is better than Eragon (and all its ilk) because even though they're both pretty inane, Rhapsody has flute solos in their songs, the songs and you can never understand what they're saying half the time anyway. No purple prose either.
Best thing misheard: From the highest hill, we scream out "You're lame!" Rightly power of the dragon's flame

*revives using ancient necromancy and cookies* They may be a terrible band but the misheard lyrics for their songs are seriously awesome. xDD
Look them up on Youtube, especially Holy Thunderforce. However, some of them have quite bad language in them so, just warning ya. ^^
