This is a counterpart for stupid/weird things to TPS, but more actions than words.
I overdosed on coughdrops. No joke. I wasn't really paying attention to what I was doing, and took about three times the reccomended dosage. It's like having a shot of Novocaine, really.
I fell asleep on my keys. I think my thoughts were something like this:
Me: Great, morning classes. Hey, where did my keys go? They're not in my pocket... *rolls over* ...oh.
I still can't believe I slept on top of them and didn't notice...
Our band director did one of the stupidest, most unprofessional, immature, and all-around funny things ever. We got a really bad judge at a competition, so he dubbed over her tape so almost every other thing she said was '...and I hate you.' Or '...and I hate that.' There was also something to the effect of 'Be sure to tune in later as I screw Vampire Marching Band out of General Effect scores.'
Vampire Marching Band needs a Things People Do post in and of itself.
I have a lot more, I just can't think of them right now.
EDIT: DEAR GOD MY POST COUNT IS AT 666. *makes wards against evil*

We're having our first competition at Vampire Marching Band school.
Speaking of Vampires, the book Twilight is annoying me.
Relevance? On-topic-ness?>_>

Is Twilight one of the mervampire books?
BD's old band sent him a copy of Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies, played by them as badly as humanely possible. Happy belated birthday, BD!
Vampire Marching Band had the most insane field show ever. It was about these two lovers who go into a dark and foreboding cardboard forest filled with evil bloodsucking musicians/flag girls. And then the leader of the vampire marching band comes in and kidnaps the guy's girlfriend and throws the guy into the dungeon, so the vampires all throw a party in the cardboard forest, complete with a Transylvanian tango. Then the hero guy gets mad, breaks his paper mache chains, monotones "No." And then runs off to kill the lead vampire, which he does by grabbing a tin foil sword and stabbing him with it, then opening a conveniently-placed curtain with a sun mural behind it. This somehow kills the lead vampire, the vampire band plays a triumphant victory theme, and the show ends.
Like I said, it was crazy.

Nope. I don't think I will ever bring myself to read a mervampire book.
Vampire Marching band show still = pwn. I wonder what they're doing this year...
Anyway, as today is talk like a pirate day, today one guy in his stats class answered a question in pirate speak. Unfortunately I was not there to witness this amazing happening.
Talk Like a Pirate day could be a whole "Things people do" category unto itself.

Mervampire? Pray tell, what is that? *totally off topic and doesn't care*

Who cares about off-topicness?
Anyway, mervampire was the result of a conversation between me and Xicrog at a game. I was commenting on lame summer beach books, and how there were apparently vampire beach books, and wasn't that a contradiction since vampires can't go out in the sun.
Xicrog suggested that they were mervampires.
It all went downhill from there.

Normal people.
Depends on the legend you're thinking of. Count Dracula, in the book, can go out in the sun, but is weakened. I think he can, at least. *doesn't quite remember* But in at least one legend, vampires aren't affected by sunlight.

Well, in the Twilight books, sunlight just makes them PRETTY. *giggles* XDDD
I actually liked those books. Well, the first one was good. Then the second one was not quite as good but still good... and I haven't read the third one yet... >_>
OFF TOPIC *toast*
Ah! here's a way to get it back on topic! Every single time someone says something random at lunch, me and Xiv at least will grab our drinks, shout "OFF TOPIC!" and toast. Or, if drinks aren't handy, we use invisible glasses. XDDD It's hilarious and Arista's the only one who gets the reference. Everyone else is just like ".... okaaaay..."
Oh yes. And I don't know if anyone here has seen Star Trek: DS9... but one time, Xiv and I skipped down the freshmen/sophomore hallway, loudly singing the little skipping rhyme they did in the episode "Move Along Home." And people were STARING at us. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. XDDD
