The first example of this I have is the one Proboards keeps flashing at the top of the screen that shows a hand with excessively long fingernails and type that reads "Do not click this unless you are 18."
Okay then.

None of the ads here work because our web filter on G-Dubbnet blocks them.

XD A bit more of a literal interpretation of the board title...

It fits, doesn't it?

It does.
And most ads don't work. The stupider/stranger ones can be funny, though.

Okay, I have to post this because it strikes me as incredibly bizarre. It's an ad for Kohler, which is a company that makes sinks and other kitchenware stuff.
It starts out with an old lady lying on her bed with another person- presumably her daughter- sitting nearby. She starts talking about how rich and full her life was, and looks wistfully at some old pictures and trophies and other things. Then she says she's seen all that she could possibly want to see.
At this point in time, it cuts to what I guess is a Kohler sink (it's really weird looking). The lady looks at it, and then drops dead.
I'm not sure what they're trying to say here. "Buy our products! You'll have a fatal heart attack!" is my guess.

XDDDD
But never fear! Her family can try that soda whose slogan was translated into Chinese as "Bring back your dead ancestors"
That reminds me of this car ad on the radio where this guy talked about how every morning he bought a cup of coffee, not because he liked coffee, but because he liked how he got free refills. And that's why he bought cars from this one dealership. So the message really was: "People don't like our cars, but they're cheap!"

I thought the soda was translated as "Bite the Wax Tadpole?"

Different one, I think- Coca-cola was "Bite the Wax Tadpole," but I think it was Pepsi that brought back dead ancestors.

Awesome. I think I'll have to use Pepsi in one of my RPG parodies as a cure-all item, then, or something that revives your entire party, or something equally stupid. Either that or lemon cookies.

Hey look, PFA remembered her login info. >_> Anyway, and this one's not quite as funny, but I noticed this one ad for the 'Think Forums,' and the guy depicted in it looks really angry. I'm not quite sure what that's supposed to mean. 'Come to our forums, they make you angry!'?

Maybe they're implying that thinking makes people angry?

...well I'm currently seeing a Portable Sink advert, that really isn't convincing me to buy one...

The ad that appeared in Google ads this time is for an RPG where the title is apparently "Southern Forest."
The caption reads "A forceful wind, from a mysterious forest, flows through the land."
... Come play our RPG, it's really windy?

I'm trying to figure out how a portable sink would work...where does the plumbing go? Hammerspace?
