Quite possibly the worst fantasy writer ever, or at least the most misogynistic. Where do I start...
-Some of my points may be off because I couldn't force myself to read the entire opening book (the Fifth Sorceress, first in a God-only-knows-how-long-ilogy), and I really can't bring myself to read the rest of them.
-Every female character is either naive, weak, and utterly dependant, or she is evil. I'd almost rather have pseudo-feminist Arya.
-There are no male villans
-They mention the wise mentor wizard's eyebrows too much
-The prose is about as comprehensible as a death metal song
-A reviewer described it as a "trainwreck in slow motion." The slow motion part is very important. So is the trainwreck, for that matter.
-Any female character who uses magic becomes evil
-The main male character is a self-insert with no redeeming qualities
-If he's the OMGCHOSENONE and born into royalty, why didn't they teach him anything about magic beforehand?
More random thoughts as I think them.

That sounds... unreadable. o__0 How does someone like that manage to get published?

XD They mention the wizard's eyebrows too much? That's a wonderful collection of critiques: He's a woman-hater with awful prose, and he mentions eyebrows too much.

Exactly. Also...
-Every single character is like a carticature of fantasy stereotypes. If the author wasn't taking himself so seriously, I'd assume he was writing the world's greatest fantasy parody.
-The fights are scripted like a pratfall comedy.

OH GOD. I forgot the worst part. According to the author, there was a bidding war between publishers that had the highest starting sum for a fantasy book to date.

I read his Wikipedia article last week after hearing him mentioned on the Wheel of Time/Sword of Truth thread, and looked him up - someone had actually added a section to the Wiki article about his views of women and how the book really shouldn't be given to young readers without adults checking it first o_0 Dear borovan. I'm truly frightened to read this book

Stay frightened, it really is that bad. Oh! And one more...
-The series is more needlessly violent and explicit than...one of the books the Terrys wrote (not Prachet). I can't remember which one, I get them mixed up all the time. Maybe it was Goodkind.
That section's still there, by the way.

Yes, there's Terry Goodkind (bad), Terry Pratchett (awesome), and the other Terry whose last name I cannot recall.
I also confuse the Sword of Shannara series with the Wheel of Time frequently, which is understandable.

XD Parody has to be well-done just like serious books, or else it's no good at all.

Well...one of the better parodies I read made fun of the overly prosodic tendencies of fantasy writers. It was really immature, but hilarious.
