okay i'm not sure how to go about this when we don't quite have a nice background for the kekkai. i'm assuming i'm allowed to make some up? correct anything you want, it's your world. this is JUST representative of my character Perspectives: Mine. Clan of the vascillating tortoise shells
So. You want to be a kekkai. Hard to tell cause even though you're saying "yes" it could be just because you know that i'll slit your throat if you don't. Man, but see. We Kekkai get a bad rap. It's not really true, you know. Sure we kill people. But that's just it.... they're people. You ask those self-righteous Warders what they're fighting for. They give you stuff about protecting civilization and blah blah blah. I mean. I just fall asleep in like the first sentence. And then I wake up and kill them. But regardless... I mean it's just a bunch of drivel really. See. I'm a Fox. We party. I know you're supposed to care about the Mother and such. But you know... It's actually just really fun to see how many different ways you can trap, trick, deceive, maim, and kill people. I'm not so much a demented crusader as I am.... living life to the extreme. Oh! I've got it! It's like...scientific process. I mean... you gotta record for future generations. What happens when you lure someone into a dark enclave and then impale them 25 times with 4 differently shaped metal objects? I don't know! That's why you have to find out. I mean it might be sad to some people...but it's like stem cell research. or experimenting on crack addicts to help with medicine. or giving people radiation poisoning by accident to help solve cancer. sure people die. and sure it might be you. but really. it's all in the name of fun progress :-D
______ My Character nameless Fox Tribe Nonchalant strong ethic code---just rather... different.
dunno anything else

Shade: Which side? Depending on how misanthropic you want your character to be, s/he can be a Kekkai or a Prodigal, possibly neutral if you want to play both sides.
Katanal: ...I was kind of hoping for greater specifics than that, but it's a good enough starting point. I'm still working on the classes for them, I've got an idea of what the archetypes are, but only two out of four or five are named.
Abilities for Belyasha coming soon. For other tribes, you can make up your own (WITHIN REASON) or I can make them for you. Whatever works. Watch this space.

Katanal's character is kind of on their side. So you won't be alone, and now we have two for each side. Which is kind of the bare minimum I was hoping for.
Now I need to do classes for bats *sigh*. Hey, if you're fond of vampires, you could be a vampire bat.

I haven't done character bios, have I? Or most of the supplementary stuff I said I'd do...

Shh. That was a rhetorical question. It is a well-known fact that I can never get supplementaries up on time.

I named my character. Yes, I'm playing a male character.
Perspective: Hashan
Kekkai. Oh yes, I’m part of them. Not that that means much. I’m a Bat, which means I get picked on by everyone, including my ‘superiors.’ I hate them. Not that I'm supposed to, but oh well. Hatanal, mostly, but he’s the leader of my cauldron, so it doesn’t matter much. But you probably don’t want to hear about him, you just want to know about the Kekkai.
I’ve been approached by a few Prodigals, of course. What a laugh. They don’t understand, the Mother gave us form, the Mother gave us flight, the greatest gift of all. We are not the underdogs (Wolf term, that. We aren’t dogs at all.), we are the strongest of the Mother’s people.
Why? Because we endure the teasing and taunting of everyone. Not all of us understand this, of course, since we Bats have the highest defection rate of all the Kekkai. But not me, I understand. The Mother gave me trials to make me stronger, and I have passed them, as I was meant to.
But you don’t want to hear about my faith, either. Look, I haven’t had much experience with the Kekkai. I was born in to them, and I haven’t defected yet. I hear that I’ve been summoned, as the most loyal of my cauldron, to serve one of the other tribes. But really, that’s the whole of my contact with people outside my cauldron, the Red Shadows.

Sacha Isayev
Cardinal traits: Religious zealot, intelligent, socially inept Abilities: Cover of Darkness, Generate Shade, Short-Circuit, Crow Hop, Sleight of Hand Personality in a nutshell: It’s horribly ironic that Sacha means “man of God” in Russian, because even among a people known for being faithful, Sacha takes it to a whole new level. Standoffish, withdrawn, and untrusting of outsiders- meaning, those not of his skulk or other Belyasha. Operates primarily by logic, and has a rather black-and-white worldview. Still a bright young man, but best described as an eccentric genius. Backstory: Born to a carrier mother and a Belyasha father, though his father ran off when he was young, most likely to find another carrier and…well, I’ve said too much. Anyway, he grew up with no understanding of his heritage in a mostly non-religious family. Needless to say, his first transformation came as a bit of a shock. Fortunately, the nearby Dog Tribe found him and was able to give him an explanation…including a full discourse on Belyasha spirituality. Sacha felt as if (his words) “he had been searching for the solution to why he existed for his entire life, only uncovering small pieces to the answer at a time, then suddenly having the answer revealed to him in one great moment.” In a less verbose term, he had an epiphany. Sacha is now devoted to the God of a Thousand Names, the Divine Inspiration, and in particular the Earthly Father with a maniacal devotion that most people would find disturbing.
Physical description: A bespectacled nineteen year-old young man with the usual appearance of a Belyasha. Namely, grey hair and bright blue eyes with pale skin. Clothing is intended primarily for comfort, like t-shirts, a jacket, and jeans. Primarily grey and black in his animal forms with a few lockets of white here and there.
Weapon(s): A revolver and a valaska (traditional weapon of the Belyasha, it is essentially an overglorified hatchet.)
Ability stuff and things on the Dog Tribe I wrote next post.
Edit: Katanal, unless the leader of your character's group is a Hyena, the group would be called a sneak instead. 'Cause they're Foxes and stuff.

Somewhat aloof at times. Definite ego. Good (morbid) sense of humor. Strict (abnormal) code of honor. Will not deviate from it. Doesn't much care about the moral cause of the Kekkai, just enjoys the cultishness and sense of purpose, and the fun of the secrecy. Enjoys the challenge. Despises Warders for being self-righteous and overly pious. Also despises Kekkai for the same traits. Sometimes disdained by other kekkai, but respected for his good fun he brings and also for his confidence and intelligence. Enjoys downplaying positive attributes, not out of humility, but to deceive himself. Special attacks: Stab I-- dagger plunges into limb. disables that limb. Gouge I -- dagger gouges out eyes. Gut I -- Dagger guts opponent Bite I -- Fox form -- bite opponent's legs Stab II -- short sword plunges into vital organ area Ultimastab -- Opponent dies* *must roll a natural 20 Ranged I -- ranged weapon inflicts damage. Surprise! ZOMG! -- ........like i'd tell you Assortment -- see name XD Gettin there....
